Tips And Tricks for Samsung Galaxy A5

Samsung has recently launched its new flagships, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
Korean manufacturer does not only release high-end range devices; last December, they introduced, among others, the Galaxy A5. This smartphone did not completely convince us at its launch, especially because of its price, a little too high for a device of this level, but it is nevertheless a quality telephone.
Aside this, it is currently one of the best-selling phones in France. Below you will find tips and tricks for the Galaxy A5 (2016), those small options and hidden functions that can sometimes prove to be very useful.

> If you are used to using TouchWiz and / or if you have a Galaxy S7 of your own, you may already know some of these tricks. It would be difficult for Samsung to create many functions that are only suitable for this phone; it's an investment which may not yield much of a result. The logic is obviously different on these new flagships, the main aim here is for devices to stand out thanks to these special features which include;

1. Sending SOS messages

In the settings, we find this function allows you (as the name implies) to inform your contacts that you are in distress. The concept is very simple: you choose which of your contacts should receive the alert and, once enabled, all you will have to do is quickly press the power button three times to send it. Remember to activate the option (it's disabled by default) and choose which of your contacts should receive the alert.
This system send two messages by default:

In difficult situations, you can quickly warn your loved ones that you are in trouble..
You'll find this function in Privacy / Protection > Send SOS messages. You can also configure the function to send an image or sound. I sincerely hope you will never have to use this SOS function, but it is interesting to have it, just in case…

2. Easy use for the disabled

Do you have problems using your smartphone? Samsung is thinking about those users with disabilities, and is now offering different options to help improve their user experience. Whether you have vision impairments, hearing difficulties or mobility problems, you can find an Accessibility tab in the settings which will make the device easier to use.

You can put the mouse cursor on your display.

The wizard menu (in the Dexterity and interaction menu) is particularly interesting. Once it is activated, you'll see a small blue circle with 4 white squares inside. By pressing on this you can access the quick commands (screenshot, key locking, etc.), as well as the use of a mouse cursor, just like on a computer.

3. A customizable Ultra energy saving mode

All current devices will offer at least one energy saving mode, though most offer several options for users. The Ultra mode is quite hard core; it allows you to connect only via WiFI but will still let you use Bluetooth and GPS. The display changes to the black and white mode so as to economize as much energy possible, which perfectly matches the smartphone’s Super AMOLED display.
The options available in this mode are reduced. Your Home screen disappears, as well as your access to most applications. Only a few still continue be available and will always try resist the invader: the phone, messages, browser, calculator, voice recorder, clock and memo.

4. Alternative to the absence of LED notifications

The LED notification is very practical… With most Android devices you only have to see the LED glow to know if we have received calls or messages. With the A5 (2016), you can forget that. This smartphone does not have this famous LED feature. Do we really have to turn on the display to know if we have notifications pending?

No LED notification but a vibration system is an acceptable alternative.

You can opt for a rather special vibration system: if you have messages / missed calls, your smartphone will vibrate when you pick it up. This is useful - providing your hands are free. You can activate this system from Movements and gestures > Smart Alert. Please note in passing that in this same menu you can associate other movements to an action: mute the sound by covering the display and taking a screenshot with a hand movement.

5. Deactivating the Flipboard

The previous generation of Samsung’s flagship devices, namely the S6 range, already had Flipboard pre-installed. Samsung has other projects in mind for the long term, but for now they are satisfied with imposing Flipboard, which is accessible directly from a simple swipe, with the application taking up the entire display.
The previous generation of Samsung flagships already had Flipboard pre-installed
Users are able to deactivate the application, as Samsung TouchWiz has a dedicated home screen settings shortcut that lets you simply remove Flipboard.

6. Activating the split screen

As its name indicates, this mode allows you to divide your display in two very distinct windows, each associated with an application. This is handy for those who want to do two things at once, like watching a video and taking notes at the same time. As you may be able to guess - the wider the screen, the easier it is to use. As for me, I hardly ever use it on my smartphone but it is a treat to have it on my tablet.

Accessing two windows simultaneously.
You just have to press and hold the multitask button, then select the applications you need.
>Please note that not all applications will be compatible with this system. As an FYI, Android N does plan to offer a window resizing system, which will enable this function to be used on all compatible devices.
Do you know any other tricks that make the strength of this smartphone?

Wine Windows App On Android

Wine is popularly known for Linux and Mac users for opening up the possibility of running Windows software on their preferred operating system. The self - referentially - named software ( Wine Is Not an Emulator ) is due for a new release in the next few weeks, but the hoped - for Windows -on -Android support is not yet there .

That being said, it is in the pipeline. Wine developers are working on integrating the existing CrossOver Android software into the open source Windows API . This will allow for Windows software to run in Android , but it won’ t make it into the up-coming Wine 2.0 , and there still some limitations.

The existing CrossOver Android preview lets you , in the words of developers Codeweavers, “run Windows software on Intel-based Chromebooks and Android tablets ”. “Android devices running on Intel chips?” , you cry. Sure…these are indeed few and far between , but that ’ s not really the point.
Writing on the Wine World News blog, André Hentschel shares a summary of Alexandre Julliard’ s keynote speech at WineConf 2016 from earlier this year:

The Wine developers decided to switch to time -based releases last year, so a code freeze will come soon , and Wine 2 .0 will be released most likely in December or January . The expected main areas of development after 2 .0 will be Aric ’ s HID support, the ongoing DirectX 11 work . Alexandre was hoping to merge the Android code CodeWeavers was working on before 2 .0 , but decided to postpone it because integrating the Java parts into the build system proved to be difficult.

So what now the point in Windows on Android if it is limited to Intel chips devices? While this may not cover many current phones and tablets , it does cater the needs of certain Chromebooks that support Android apps and the potential to run Windows software on Chrome OS could give Chromebooks a much needed boost. But there exist the possibility that Intel chips will become more widely used in phones and tablets; we’re not at that point yet and, coupled with the niche markets that Chromebooks occupy, the delay in bringing Windows on Android support to Wine is understandable.

Windows 10 Tips And Tricks: Playing Games From Store Offline

Active strong internet connection is required so that running Windows Store games on a PC will run smoothly. After hearing out consumer complaints, Microsoft has removed this requirement. Offline play is now available in Windows Store. This request has been pending long enough that the company is no lagging behind its competitors.

Although Microsoft has permitted offline play for Windows Store games, but there still exist some limitations from the main features. For example, the player cannot make any additional purchases, leaderboards will not display game progress, and players cannot showcase their achievements. Until a connection is established, these features will not go off.

On top of that, only a single device can be designated as an 'offline device' at a time. Changing of offline devices is allowed but only thrice a year. A lot of steps are also required to go offline gaming. Most games with campaign mode, however, will be playable offline. Of course, multiplayer games need an internet connection.

How to set a Windows 10 device as designated offline device to play Windows Store games

Firstly, users need to ensure that they're online. The latest Windows updates are also needed to push this through. To check if so, go to Start>Settings>, then select 'Update & security'. Once there, check for Windows Update option. Users can check here if there are pending updates.

Secondly, check out all requirements above, users need to open the Windows Store. A prompt will pop out for signing in, if there wasn't any sign in happening earlier. Once signed in, users need to click on the
'Me' icon on the upper right-hand corner.
Once there, select
Settings, and then Offline Permissions**, this needs to be activated by making sure the toggle is set to 'ON': 'Make this PC the one I use to run some games or apps that have a limited license, even when I'm offline'.

7 Tips and Tricks for the MacBook Pro's Touch Bar

A  new gadget has been unveil, The MacBook Pro's Touch Bar which is one such gadget, with a series of features and added functionality that's not abundantly obvious on first use. Instead of trying to tap and swipe your way around the Touch Bar, we rounded up some tips to help you.

1. Just tap and slide

Save yourself a few taps when using either the volume or brightness control. Instead of tapping the button, then moving your finger over to the slider to make an adjustment, tap and hold on the respective button. With your finger still on it, slide to the left or right. The Touch Bar will treat the gesture as if your finger were on the actual slider and will respond accordingly.

2. Disable in-app Touch Bar controls

If you don't want the Touch Bar to change and morph its behavior based on the app you're using, you can open System Preferences > Keyboard to tailor how it works.

Click on the drop-down menu labeled Touch Bar shows to select from one of three options: App Controls with Control Strip, Expanded Control Strip or App Controls.

Any changes you make will show up in real time on the Touch Bar for you to test.

3. Take screenshot of Touch Bar

Touché is a free app that not only gives those who don't own the new MacBook Pro a chance to try out the Touch Bar, but it also includes the ability to take a screenshot of the Touch Bar.

Download Touché for free.

4. Expanded Control Strip

The Control Strip contains up to four buttons on the right side of the Touch Bar. You can customize which buttons are always shown by following the steps laid out here. There's an expanded Control Strip, as well, which you can access by tapping on the "<" button to the left of the Control Strip for access to more commonly used controls.

5. Easiest way to use Siri

Rather than tapping on Siri's button, giving a command, then waiting for your MacBook Pro to process it, try this: Press and hold the Siri button, give your command, then lift your finger off of the button.

Siri will instantly process and carry out whatever it is you asked of her.

6. Scrub a dub dub

You can quickly jump ahead or back while watching a video or listening to music on your MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar's built-in scrub tool.

A button that resembles a bar graph will show up to the left of the Control Strip when scrubbing is available. Tap on it, then slide your finger over the scrub tool. If more than one app is available for scrubbing, an app icon will be displayed. Tap the app icon to switch between apps.

Bonus: If you use Safari, you can scrub through ads played before most videos.

7. Bring the function keys back

Hold in the "fn" key to display the Function keys, should you need to access them. Or if you know you need to access the Function keys each time you are in a certain app, open System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts. Click on Function Keys in the list of options, followed by the "+" sign to add an app the list.

Furthermore, every time you use that app the Touch Bar will only display Function keys.

Top 9 problems of Infinix Hot 2 and their solutions

Infinix product is one of the most economical brand in android phones with unique features an as well being the most affordable brand of phones, there are still some lapses in its design and as such result in short term problems during usage. Here i would enlist some Common problems of Infinix Hot 2 and their possible solutions

Problem 1: I can’t see a file manger

One of the problems of Infinix Hot 2 is that of users not being able to see a file manager. After signing in with your Gmail account, the first thing you need to do is to download a file manager from Google Playstore. Es File Explorer is highly recommended.

Problem 2: I can’t use a custom song as ringtone

When you notice you can’t set a song as ringtone, then next thing is, use your ES File Explorer, navigate to the song you want, and set that as your ringtone.

Problem 3: I can’t find any gallery

The Infinix Hot 2 actually has a gallery app called Google Photos. Though, I’ll admit, the app looks weird and different from what we’re used to. To fix the problem, run along to Google Play Store and download Quick Pic or Gallery. It is a lightweight and fast gallery app. Highly recommended.

Problem 4: I can’t play videos

If you can’t find a good video player on your phone, again Quick Pic is decent. For a more rounded experience, go ahead to Google Play Store and download MX Player.

Problem 5: The phone doesn’t have HSDPA

Just because the phone shows 3G on the network signal bar (instead of H+), many people have concluded that the phone doesn’t have HSDPA. If you dig around Setting -> About section, you’ll clearly see where it is shown. The phone has HSDPA. However, if you need to be able to see it reflected as an icon in the status bar, you can still go further, by rooting, installing Xposed Framework and Gravity Box, then set it up to write H+ on the status bar.

Problem 6: My launcher suddenly changed to vertical scrolling

If you notice the default launcher suddenly changed to vertical scrolling, don’t be afraid. What happened is that it has been automatically updated. The latest update to Google Now launcher changed it from horizontal to vertical scrolling of the app drawer. So if you don’t like it, go to Google Play Store, and download Nova launcher HERE , then customize it as you please.

Most of the problems you experience with this phone is because you’re on a Guest Account. Yes. During initial setup most of us mistakenly put ourselves in guest account. This means the phone sees you as a guest. Hence, it restricts your use of the phone. Please make sure you are not on a guest account, if you’re on it, reset your phone to factory settings.
>!! If you do like updating OS from original vendors is advisable not to root unless you know what you are doing.

Problem 7: I can no longer see my 2nd SIM as option when I want to make a call
When on the Phone menu, Go to Options (it’s a 3-dot menu) on the top right hand of the screen. Select Settings > Calling accounts > When Call Ask First.
From there, you can set it to show both SIM cards.

Problem 8: After upgrading to Marshmallow, All my saved Contacts now show just numbers

If your Call log is not showing contacts;
Go to Settings> Accounts>Google>
Click the 3-dot menu on the top right hand side and,
Remove the account.
After a while you add it back by logging in again to your Gmail, it will be fixed.

Problem 9: After upgrading to Marshmallow, I can’t access my Memory Card, and my PC no longer recognize my phone

Google has changed the way memory cards work on Android 6.0 I explained everything HERE. You have to format your SD card with the phone before your files can show on it. Please ignore the message that tells you to setup your SD card.

To access your phone through PC, plug in your phone, when it’s charging, Open your phone and swipe down the notification bar (you will notice the default is “Charging Only”), change it to MTP or USB storage, and it will show.

Android 7.0 Nougat Updates, Tips & Tricks: Latest OS Reveals Added

After the first release of Android N earlier this year by as part of a new "Android Beta Program" intended for testing by developers and enthusiasts ahead of the Google I/O developer conference. The latest Android Nougat firmware is expected to introduce notable changes to smartphones' as one of the leading operating system and its development platform, including the ability to display multiple apps on-screen at once in a split-screen view, support for inline replies to notifications, among others.

Android 7.0-7.1 Nougat, codenamed N during the OS' development, is the seventh major version of the Android operating system. First released as a beta build on March 9, it was officially released on Aug. 22 with Nexus devices being the first to receive the update.
Before the expected release of the latest Android Nougat firmware to selected smartphones in the future, Inquirer reported bits of information on some of the tips and tricks that will increase both system security and entertainment quality to users.

1. Android 7 Split screen mode
Through the new multi-window mode, users are given more power to use applications at their ease. By long-pressing the Overview button, the current app will snap to half of the smartphone's display.
Long-pressing the Overview button again will return the display back to normal, or make it possible to adjust one of the window's boundary lines to either maximize the app or hide it.

2. Android 7 Data Saver
This option data Saver lets the user choose which apps have data access when the screen is off. So this feature is particularly handy for keeping battery-draining apps like Facebook at rest.
Data Saver is disabled as standard, and to turn it on, users should explore the Settings tab, then locate, "Data Usage" and select "Data Saver." By tapping on it, users can choose the apps that have full access when in standby.

3. Quickly switch between apps in Android Nougat
Thus is the thrilling part of Nougat, instead of cycling through the "Recent Apps" view, Nougat can now easily direct users through their last-used app with a simple double tap of the Overview button.

4. Clear all apps
At the top of the recent apps, users should discover a handy "Clear All" option that shuts down everything currently open.

5. Cast your screen
Want your Android device on your TV? Just swipe down and tap Cast screen and it will be sent to your Chromecast. If it's not there, add the Cast tile to your Quick Settings using the method mentioned above. Not all apps are supported though.

6. Quick reply

The Nougat will delete the stress of opening a messaging app for creating texts as tapping the "Reply" will immediately start a composition to reply fast.

7. Silence annoying apps

Control is app-specific and can be customised by long-pressing on the notification, or dragging the notification just far enough to reveal the Settings cog. Three options can be selected by users such as 'Show notifications silently', 'Block all notifications', and 'Don't silence or block' (default).

8. DPI changer

Unlike super computers Android Nougat introduces a new option that allows users to control DPI settings and thus alter icon and font sizes across the OS.

9. System UI Tuner

Each app can be assigned a level of importance, with the highest (5) always appearing at the top of the notification list, while others block apps from peeking, silencing sound and vibration, or hiding them altogether.

10. Android N Keyboard themes

From "Settings," users can tap into "Languages & input," then followed by Virtual keyboard. Selecting the option for Google Keyboard, then Theme enables users to switch from templates already available for keyboard. Users can also use their own images as a background.

:*11. Emergency info

Emergency information such as medications and allergies can be added from the "Users" menu found under "Device Settings," or by tapping on the icon that appears in the "Quick Settings" shade when fully expanded. Users can click on 'Emergency information' to add essentials like name, blood type, among others.

12. Unlock Nougat's cat collecting game

The mechanics of the secret mini-game are similar to that of Neko Atsume. To unlock the game, users should visit the "Settings" panel and locate "About Phone" tab. Here tap on the Android version number a bunch of times until the Nougat logo flashes into view, tap on this repeatedly before long-pressing. If done correctly a cat emoji should appear. Now head back to your Quick Settings shade, click edit (pencil) and select 'Empty Dish'.
Tap to add food to your cat dish and await the arrival of the new kitty companions. Users can choose to name it and share it with their network.

13. Android 7.0 Nougat Quick Settings tips

Quick settings were good before, now they're even better. There are more options and there's far greater customisation.

14. Manage Quick tiles

In Android 7.0 you can manage the order of the quick settings tiles by dropping down the usual shade from the top of the screen and hitting 'edit'. Now you can re-order, and even add new quick access toggles for things like Google Cast, night mode, data saver and such.

15. Enable night mode**

Using the method above, add the night mode tile to your quick settings tiles. Once it's there, just tap to activate it or press and hold to access night mode settings to customise.

How to Fix User Profile Service Failed the Login Error

The User Profile Service failed logon, this problem occurs as result of registry error of current window user profile not loaded when computer is turned on.

Here in this blog post I would unveil how to fix this error.

Firstly you have to start windows in safe mode

How to start Windows in safe mode

1. Ensure you remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.

2. Click on the Start button, click the arrow next to the Shut Down button, and then click Restart.

3. Press and hold the F8 key until the computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you'll need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then shutting down and restarting your computer.

4. Log on to your computer with a user account that has administrator rights.

Create a system restore point before starting, it is highly recommended that you create a system restore point in case you make a mistake while in the registry. This way you will easily be able to do a system restore to use the created restore point to undo the mistake.

To create a restore point
1. Start windows in safe mode
2. Open System by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
3. In the left pane, click System protection. ...
4. Click the System Protection tab, and then click Create.
5. In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click Create.
Source: how to create restore point

Method 1
Step 1: check if the profile service is working OK
If you have other user profiles on Windows, then try to login with those. If not, do the following:
Start windows in “safe mode with command prompt” (if you don’t know how to do it, see the instructions above)
Create a new user (neo) by typing in: net user /add neo bux
Restart the computer and see whether you can login as neo. If you can login as bob, this guide should help you to fix the problem. Don’t forget to remove this account after you finish.

Step 2: fix the problem (you have a few options)
Registry setting restore
1. Use registry editor:
Click start, type “regedit” in the search box, you should see “regedit.exe”, click it to run.

2. Locate the right key:
In Registry Editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

3. Backup the ProfileList:
Select the key, then go to the top menu, File -> export. Give it an appropriate file name (e.g. profilelist_backup_2016115) and save.
4. Fix the registry:

a. Looking for the ones with the longer names e.g. S-1-5-… Look at the profile entry in the registry and see whether you can find something like this (see below). If you can see two entries: 1 ends with “.bak” and the other doesn’t. Then we are good to go to the next step.

b. Click on the one without the “.bak”, check the key ProfileImagePath and see whether it is your profile. If it is, then move on to the next step.

c. Now right click on the one without “.bak”, rename by adding “.old” at the end. Then right click on the one with “.bak”, rename by removing the “.bak”. You should end up with something like below.

d. Finally, go to the entry without “.bak” and ensure the following keys are set to these values:
i. Key: RefCount, Value: 0
ii. Key: State, Value: 0

e. Close the Registry Editor. Restart the computer. You should be able to log in to your profile now.

Method 2: Replace profile

Create a new profile to replace the corrupt profile. Copy the data from the old profile to the new profile:

For Windows 7
Fix a corrupted user profile (Windows 7)

For Windows Vista
Fix a corrupted user profile (Windows Vista)

Method 3: Using "Microsoft Fix IT Tool"
To use "Microsoft Fix IT Tool" to fix this problem automatically, download this tool from Microsoft, afterwards click Run in the File Download dialog box, and follow the steps in this wizard. Microsoft Fix It

How to Change Boot Logo on Android

Here I would show you how to fix Android custom roms errors such as battery icon not displaying, when phone is switched off while charging shows percentage or meter error and other issues related to animation on custom roms, if you are a big fan of custom roms using a simple lite software LogoBuilder (English)

Courtesy (da bovirus (bovirusatgmailcom)

If you wish to change first boot screen of your Android phone based on **MT65xx* * platform - this program is made for you! It can unpack and repack your logo.bin file that contains first boot screen and charging battery images. Also this program can help you to edit second boot screen which is located in boot_logo file. The program is simple to use: just unpack your existing logo.bin file, edit it and then pack back. Futhermore program will make file for your recovery, so you can flash your new logo.bin to your phone via recovery.

How to Run this Setup

>1) Click "Create project". Select your logo.bin file and new project path.
>2) Edit project images as you wish.
>3) Click "Make" (new logo.bin and for recovery will be created)
>4) Flash new logo.bin via any flashing tool or via recovery.
>5) Reboot your phone!

Besides that program can edit your boot_logo file (it contains second boot screen, which is shown right after logo.bin first image). It is located in /system/media/images/boot_logo file. Get this file from your phone (you must be rooted), convert it to image, edit it and convert ti back. After you put new boot_logo to your phone back, don't forget to set right permissions (rw-rr).

After boot_logo you can see animation. It is located in file. You can create this file with the Gif2BootAnimation program.

Some technical information. file, created by program by default, flashes logo.bin via package_extract_file("logo.bin", "/dev/logo"). This method is useful for many contemporary MTK phones (eg. ZP100, ZP300, THL W3+ and so on), but some phones doesn't have /dev/logo/ and needed to be flashed via write_raw_image("logo.bin","logo").
To adapt the program for your phone, just put suitable updater-script and update-binary files to program folder. It will use these files with all new projects.

The program developed with support of china-iphone forum.

Please Be Aware of the following!!!

1) Remember! All that you do with your phone you do at your own risk. Program just prepares new logo.bin file.

2) Don't forget to make backups.

3) Don't change updater-script file if you don't know what it contains.

4) Don't use the program if you don't know what it really does.

Download The Software from here

How to Recover Deleted Photos on Android

Did you just deleted bunch of photos in order to free up some storage space, or worse, you deleted important photos by accident? Photos brings memories but don't panic, there are several tools and methods that would help you to recover the deleted photos on Android.

Method #1: Using a Recovery Software on Windows/Mac/Linux

There are several recovery software utilities available on the web. Although you would find most of the popular solutions on Windows & Mac.

In this case, I have chosen EaseUS MobiSaver for Android being one of the easiest solutions available on the web.

Note: You can just preview the data in the free version and to recover them you need to purchase the software for 39 USD. Also, a rooted device is a necessity for most of the available recovery software solutions and EaseUS recovery tool also requires a rooted Android device as well.
Other similar software tools available include –
RecoveryAndroid (free software), FonePaw, and 7-Data recovery. You can try them and let us know in the comments below if they are a charm to use as well.

Steps to use EaseUS MobiSaver to recover deleted photos
Step #1: Connect your smartphone to the computer
Step #2 : Enable USB Debugging from the
developer’s option.
Step #3 : Launch the application. Now, you can observe the device name displayed when connected successfully. Simply, click on “Start ”.

Step #4: Now analyzing of data will start ones that can be recovered and at the same time it would display the data found along with it's category (like – media, documents, contacts and so on.)

Step #5 : After the scan completes, you can simply mark multiple photos and click on “Recover ”. So, now you have successfully recovered the deleted photos.
In the same way, you can recover deleted photos on Android using other software solutions available on the web such as Undelete for Android for rooted phones.

Method #2: Using an App from the Google Play Store
It is not necessary to have a rooted device in order to recover deleted photos. There are lots of applications for Android which lets you recover deleted photos even if your device Android is not a rooted one.
Here, I have mentioned two of the most popular apps that does the work on any Android device (rooted or not, does not matter).
1. DigDeep Image Recovery (Rooted / Non-rooted device)

Using a recovery app has never been this easy. As soon as you launch the app, it would start searching for the deleted photos. In my case, it completed the search in a couple of seconds but the time required to complete the scan may be different.
After the search completes, tap on a folder and then select the images to recover as shown in the image above.
Note: It displays quite a few images that already exist on your device. So, there is nothing to worry about if you observe the same.

2. DiskDigger photo recovery (Rooted / Non-rooted )
DiskDigger offers a free version and a premium version as well. The DiskDigger Pro would cost you 2.99 USD. And, if you just want to recover the photos and videos (with limited functionalities), you can keep the free version installed.
However, the premium version is definitely worth the price, given that you have a rooted device.
It is one of the best apps that I have ever tried to recover deleted photos on Android OS and fortunately I was able to recover 2000+ precious images from one of my old (but rooted) device.
When you launch the app, you will be able to multiple memory partitions. You have to select the one from which you want to recover the deleted photos. Let us take a look at how you can do that.
_Note: I have used the DiskDigger Pro version. If the free version does not work as expected, consider using the pro version to help recover deleted photos on Android._

Steps to use DiskDigger Pro file recovery

>Step #1: Launch the app and select the desired memory partition.
>Step #2 : Select the type of files you want to recover. In this case, select JPG, PNG, and GIF (optional).
Step #3: Now, click on the “ OK” button to start searching for the deleted photos.
>Step #4 : It would take a couple of minutes (here, 5 minutes) to complete the scan. After it is complete, you can mark the images you want to restore and click on “Recover ” or you can select all of the images at once and then click on “ Recover ”.

Method #3: Using Google Photos
Using Google photos will not help in recovering the deleted photos if you have never utilized it before. I would recommend keeping a backup of your photos on Google photos from the next time.
Just in case, you had “Backup & sync ” enabled on Google Photos, you can easily restore them.

If you use Google Photos as the primary gallery application on your device, then you can simply head on to the “Trash” and select the photos you want to restore as shown in the image below.
If you deleted the images right from a custom default gallery app pre-installed with your phone (not Google Photos), then you would have to singlely restore the pictures from Google photos to keep them for offline use.

You can now be sure that there are chances to recover deleted photos on Android. If you don't have a rooted device, there might be a problem in recovering all photos you lost but if you do have a rooted device the recovery process more accurate.
Futhermore, you can upload and keep a backup for all your photos using some of reliable cloud storage services available viz include – Google Drive, Mega, Backblaze, DropBox and other known similar services.

How To Stop Google Play from Automatically updating

Dear reader, I want to share how to fix Google play store crash and updating automatically thereby causing unfortunately palystore has stopped working error. To fix this you can also read my previous post how to fix unfortunately app has stopped working
First, you must have version 4.8.2 installed (just replace it in /system/app with the new
Instructions found:

1. root, install supersu
2. install busybox, then terminal emulator
3. Tested on Android ICS (Cyanogenmod 9, Play Store 3.*) rooted phone
4. Stop whatever Internet access on your Android it will silently auto-update Play Store, making yo hard typing work useless.
5. Open Settings → App manager and find Play Store. Tap on it. Tt will open properties window.
6. There will be button Uninstall Updates. on it, click yes on "replace with factory version? question.
Since there is no Internet at that moment Play Store can't be updated.
7 Open Terminal Emulator and type the commands one by one:
At this time supersu app will ask you for granting root access for Terminal Emulator app, click grant access.
Next command type
mkdir /data/app/
Instead of creating a file and preventing modification with permissions it just creates a directory, which can't be overwritten by the updater.

Now you can re-enable the internet connection and it will not update unless the directory is deleted.

How To Share Health App Activity Via Stickers In The Messages App In iOS 10

The Messages app in iOs 10 now has its own ecosystem of apps. For the most part, the apps released for the Messages app have been stickers. Some are free but most are not. The artwork of the stickers are what make a sticker app worth buying. Of course, not all sticker apps are the same. Meet Health Stickers , a sticker app for the Messages app in iOS 10 that connects with the Health app and lets you share your activity in the form of stickers. The app regularly fetches current data from the Health app. You can send an iMessage contact your blood group, number of flights of stairs you have climbed, calories burned, steps walked, and more.
Install Health Stickers and allow it to access data from the Health app. Health Stickers adds an app icon to the Home screen. Simply access the app from the Home screen to connect it with the Health app. You can choose what data it has access to.

Once Health Stickers has access to your data, you can start sharing it. Open the Messages app and tap the App Store button. Enable the app in Messages if you don’t see it.

The stickers let you share your gender, your blood group, steps walked, distance walked, calories burned, exercise/active time, heart rate, stairs climbed, your current weight, and more. Tap the sticker to add it to the input text field and tap send.

As far as stickers go, this is the first app we’ve seen that isn’t meant to be cute. It’s a great way to share activity and it’s better than looking at the rather boring graphs the Health app has. It’s surprising this isn’t something iOS lets you do as a stock feature considering the Apple Watch does let you share your activity with friends.
Install Health Stickers from App Store
